International Conference on Equine Reproduction - PolSKI CPD 2027

The Vetpraktyki.pl team is pleased to invite you to the fifth edition of PolSKI CPD, an international conference dedicated to equine reproduction. This time, we will return to the well-known and much-loved Szczyrk, a venue familiar to participants from previous editions.

As every year, we have prepared a programme combining both substantive educational sessions and opportunities for relaxation and networking.

Conference

For the upcoming edition, we have placed particular emphasis on topics related to mares in advanced pregnancy, peripartum complications affecting mares and foals, and selected diseases of foals.

The lectures will be delivered by world-renowned specialists in equine reproduction and neonatology, all of whom are experienced clinicians and researchers:

To create a space for dialogue between participants and speakers, we have planned round-table sessions, during which everyone will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their insights. In addition, our speakers will always be available for informal discussions, sharing experiences, discussing clinical cases, and addressing any questions or concerns.

Free Time

When not attending lectures, we will head to the picturesque ski slopes. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy active recreation in the beautiful Polish mountains, improving their skiing or snowboarding skills under the guidance of qualified instructors, together with fellow conference participants.

Alternatively, we invite you to take a cable car ride to Skrzyczne and enjoy a winter hike through the mountains. Weather permitting, we will also organise a traditional sleigh ride.

For those who prefer a more relaxing way to spend their free time, the hotel’s Wellness & SPA area will be available, including swimming pools, a jacuzzi, sauna, salt grotto and gym.

We will round off the conference with a traditional Highlander-Style Party at Gospoda Polska, enjoying great company and delicious regional cuisine.

Hotel

For the fifth edition of the conference, we are returning to Hotel Meta Szczyrk, located at 4 Skośna Street, Szczyrk, Poland.

In addition to its spacious conference room, one of the hotel’s greatest advantages is its Wellness area, offering a perfect way to relax outside the lecture sessions. The hotel also features several restaurants serving delicious food.

Guests can choose between comfortable single or double rooms. The hotel provides a large free car park for guests.

Family-Friendly Programme

While you attend the lectures, your family can fully enjoy their stay at the hotel and take part in the available activities.

Adults are warmly invited to join our evening gatherings around the traditional highland fire, as well as daytime activities such as skiing and mountain walks.

Our youngest participants will be looked after by professional children’s entertainers, allowing parents to enjoy the conference and the trip without worry.

Arrival & Departure

For participants arriving by plane, we provide airport transfers to and from the venue on 11th and 16th of January. Transfers are available from and to Kraków-Balice Airport and Katowice-Pyrzowice Airport.
