PolSKI CPD 2026 – International Conference on Equine Reproduction (16-21.01.2026)

PolSKI CPD 2026 marks the fourth edition of the international veterinary conference organized by Vetpraktyki, entirely dedicated to equine reproduction.
This exceptional event attracts veterinarians from around the world – professionals committed to advancing their theoretical and practical skills while working side by side with leading specialists in the field.

This year, we will meet in one of the most unique venues in Poland – Kocierz Resort & Spa, located in the heart of the Little Beskid Mountains, at an altitude of 750 meters above sea level.
It is the perfect place to combine professional development with relaxation in the midst of nature.
Over four intensive days, participants will enjoy a comprehensive scientific program, hands-on workshops, and leisure activities.

Conference

For the upcoming PolSKI CPD 2026, we have prepared an extensive educational program that includes both lectures and interactive discussion panels.
The main focus of this year’s edition will be three key topics:
• Problems in Horse Reproduction
• OPU
• Oocytes and Embryos

During the lecture sessions, we will discuss, among others:
• current challenges in equine reproduction,
• modern methods of oocyte collection (OPU),
• oocyte preparation techniques,
• maturation, transfer, and cryopreservation of embryos,
• diagnosis and treatment of fertility disorders,
• the latest technologies in assisted reproduction,
• clinical cases and experiences from daily practice.

Recognizing how valuable professional exchange is for our participants, the sessions have been designed to encourage active engagement – asking questions, sharing experiences, and exchanging insights with lecturers and veterinarians from around the world.

Speakers

As every year, the conference will feature renowned experts in equine reproduction – scientists and practitioners working in some of the world’s most prestigious centers:
Prof. John Newcomb – United Kingdom
Dr. Roberto Sanchez – Colombia / Worldwide
Dr. Carlos Ramires Neto – Brazil / Worldwide
Dr Carolina Herrera – Argentina / Switzerland
MSc Katrien Smits – Belgium
Prof. Juan C. Samper – Canada
Prof. Duccio Panzani – Italy
Dr Kornelia Omyła – Poland
Prof. Mohamed K. Derbala – Egypt
Assoc. Prof. Maciej Witkowski – Poland
Dr Greg Staniek – United Kingdom

The speakers will be with us throughout the entire conference – not only during lectures but also during workshops, shared dinners, and networking events.
This offers participants a unique opportunity to get to know them better, exchange ideas in a more informal setting, and build meaningful professional relationships.
These personal interactions – over dinner, during practical sessions, or recreational activities – often mark the beginning of lasting collaborations between participants and international experts.

Our Partners

As in previous editions, PolSKI CPD 2026 will host representatives of leading international companies and organizations active in the field of equine reproduction.
Their presence provides participants with an opportunity to discover the latest technologies, test equipment during workshops, and discuss innovations shaping the future of veterinary medicine.

Workshops

The final day of the conference will be dedicated to hands-on workshops focusing on live oocyte collection (OPU) and laboratory techniques for handling oocytes and embryos.
Specially prepared workstations will allow every participant to actively engage under the supervision of experts.

To ensure maximum comfort for all attendees, we will also continue the “Round Table” discussion, led by Prof. John Newcomb, providing a platform for open exchange and collaborative analysis of the most common challenges faced in clinical practice.

The full-day workshops will take place at a modern and fully equipped equine clinic, offering the highest technical standards and comfortable conditions for practical training.
Several dedicated rooms have been prepared for participants, ensuring an efficient learning environment and the optimal use of the workshops’ educational potential.

The Conference Is Not Only About Science

At PolSKI CPD 2026, we have prepared not only an exceptional scientific program but also opportunities for relaxation and social connection.
Between lectures and workshops, participants are invited to enjoy a variety of activities that promote rest and networking within an international community.
