Vetpraktyki.pl – Veterinary Training Sylwester Zając and Centrum Zdrowia Konia cordially invite all veterinarians to participate in practical workshops led by Professor Jean-Marie Denoix.
Topic: Forelimb + Neck

November 28–29, 2024 (Thursday/Friday)
Workshop participants will benefit from hands-on sessions in small groups and access to a large number of teaching horses.
The instructors are specialists with many years of clinical and teaching experience.
The workshops will take place at the Harmony Park Equestrian Center – Kondrajec 68, Mazowieckie Province, Poland.
Harmony Park Stables offers on-site accommodation. More information is available on the venue’s website, and reservations can be made by phone: +48 503 982 007. When booking, please refer to “DR SYLWESTER ZAJĄC” – the venue has reserved the entire facility for participants.
The facility also features a sauna and jacuzzi.

Day 1 (Thursday, November 28)
09:00–13:00 – Live horse demonstration: anatomy, static and dynamic clinical examination, mobilizations
13:00–14:00 – Lunch
14:00–16:00 – Group work: anatomy, clinical examination, mobilizations
16:30–18:00 – Case discussions prepared by participants*
19:00/20:00 – Dinner and networking meeting
Day 2 (Friday, November 29)
08:00–10:30 – Evaluation of X-rays of the forelimb and neck submitted by participants**
11:00–12:30 – Lecture: X-ray evaluation
13:30–14:30 – Ultrasound examination of the forelimb and neck – live demonstration on a horse
14:30–16:00 – Ultrasound workshop
To Participants
We want the workshops to be interactive and closely related to your daily practice, therefore:
We encourage you to prepare a presentation of a case that you find interesting or would like to discuss with Prof. Denoix. Presentations should be prepared in PowerPoint or Keynote format and include case history, clinical examination videos, and X-ray and/or ultrasound images.
Each participant is required to send 5 X-ray images by October 31, 2024, to ok@szpital.vet.
The submitted images will be compiled into a shared catalog and presented anonymously to the professor for discussion.
Fees
Workshop fee: 3600 PLN
The fee includes:
– participation in practical sessions and lectures,
– access to top-quality diagnostic equipment and teaching materials,
– coffee service and lunch during the course.
Accommodation and breakfast are not included.
